මේ අනිවාර්යෙන් කරන්න ඕන දෙයක් කියලා මම කියන්නේ නෑ නමුත් කරනවනම් ඔබේ බැටරියේ ආයු කාලය වැඩිවෙයි.

80 %ට වඩා charge කරන්න එපා.

මේක වැරදි මතයක්.BYD battery 100% ක් charge කරාට කිසිම හානියක් නෑ. හැබැයි අධික උෂ්ණත්වය Battery එකේ ආයු කාලයට බලපානවා.

♻️මාස 3 පමණ වාහනය එකතැන නවත්වා තිබෙනවා නම්. 30% -60 % අතර SOC එක තබන්න.

♻️මාස 3 ට පමණ වතාවක් Battery එක Recalibration කරන්න. මේ ඔබගේ battery එකේ health එකට අත්‍යවශ්‍ය කාරණාවක්.

කොහොමද කරන්නේ.

✅Battery එක 10% කට වඩා අඩුවට discharge කරන්න.

✅ඉන්පසුව AC charger  එකක් භාවිතා කරලා single charging cycle  එකකින් 100% ක් charge කරන්න. 

මෙය 100% යන්නට කලින් නතර කළහොත්. Battery එක recalibrate  වෙන්නෙ නෑ. එහෙම උනොත් මුල ඉඳන් ආයිත්10% කට වඩා අඩුවෙන් discharge  කරලා පටන් ගන්න ඕනේ.

මෙහිදී සම්පූර්ණයෙන් battery එක charge වී charging complete ලෙස message එකක් එන  තුරු charge කරන්න. ඇතැම් වෙලාවට 100%  ක් charge වී charging completed ලෙස message එකක්  ලැබෙන්නෙ නැති වෙන්න පුළුවන්.

එහෙත් එම මැසේජ් එක ලැබෙන තුරු charge කරන්න .

බැටරියේ health එක  හොඳින් පවත්වාගෙන යාමට මෙය අත්‍යවශ්‍ය කරුණක්. 

🟨100% SOC පෙන්වූ වහාම "Charging Completed" නොපෙන්වා තවත් මිනිත්තු කිහිපයක් ගත විය හැකිය. ඒක සාමාන්‍ය දෙයක්.එයට හේතු:

1. 100% SOC කියන්නේ display එකේ පෙන්වන අගයයි. නමුත් BMS එක තවමත් අවසාන charging ක්‍රියාවලිය අවසන් කරමින් සිටිය හැක.

 2. Cell balancing: බැටරියේ සෑම cell එකක්ම සමාන වෝල්ටීයතාවයකට ගෙන ඒම සඳහා BMS එක අවසාන අදියරේ balancing කරනවා.

තවත් සරලව කිව්වොත් මුලින්ම බැටරිය හිතන්නෙ නැතිව  චාජ් කරගෙන යනවා අවසාන අදියරේදී තමයි cell balancing  කරන්නේ.

3. Charging current එක අවසානයේදී ඉතා අඩු කරනවා. ඒ නිසා display එක 100% වුණත් charger එක සම්පූර්ණයෙන් නවත්වන්න තවත් කාලයක් ගත වෙයි.

✅ BMS එක සියලු ආරක්ෂක පරීක්ෂණ අවසන් කළ පසුවයි "Charging Completed" කියලා පෙන්වන්නේ.

♻️BYD කියන්නේ කවදාවත් නිදාගන්නා වාහන වර්ගයක් නොවෙයි. ඒ නිසා රෑ %100 ක් තිබුණ Battery එක උදේ වෙනකොට යම්කිසි ප්‍රමාණයක් අඩුවීම සාමාන්‍යයි. ඔබ BYD App එකෙන් වාහනය පරීක්ෂා කරන සෑම විටකම Body control units on වෙන බවත් sim, DiLink ආදිය on වෙන බවත් එය battery pack එකට බලපාන බවත් සිහි තබා ගන්න.

12V battery එක දුර්වල නම් රාත්‍රී කාලයේ එය charge කිරීමට  නිතරම සිදුවන නිසා HV Battery එකේ යම්කිසි ප්‍රතිශතයක් අඩුවීමද සිදුවේ. 

මෙහි ඇතැම් දින වකවානු owners manual එකට වඩා යම් වෙනස්කමක් තිබෙන්නට පුලුවන්.

Sri Lanka’s EV market in 2026: Beyond excitement, real test is affordability

 Sri Lanka’s electric vehicle market in 2026 is no longer a futuristic conversation. It is becoming a live economic, consumer and infrastructure discussion. After several years of vehicle import restrictions, high vehicle prices, fuel-price volatility and foreign exchange pressure, electric vehicles are now entering the market with renewed visibility. The Colombo EV Motor Show 2026, held in June, was another sign that the EV conversation has moved into the mainstream business space. The event featured more than 200 trade stalls covering electric vehicles, motor accessories, spare parts, lubricants, tyres, batteries, charging solutions and related services as per the Colombogazette.com.

However, Sri Lanka’s EV transition should not be viewed only through the excitement of new models, showrooms and exhibitions. The more important question is whether the country is developing the full ecosystem required for EV adoption: clear regulation, affordable financing, charging infrastructure, after-sales service, parts availability, battery confidence, and a realistic total cost of ownership for consumers and businesses.

From a regulatory point of view, Sri Lanka has started building the framework needed for EV adoption, particularly around charging infrastructure. The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka states that EV charging stations fall under its regulatory purview because they involve the distribution and supply of electricity to electric vehicles. PUCSL’s role includes maintaining a register of EV charging stations, issuing a code of practice, determining end-user tariffs, issuing safety and technical standards, and collecting information for monitoring purposes. This is an important development. If EV adoption grows without a regulated charging ecosystem, consumers could face inconsistent pricing, safety concerns, unreliable service standards and uneven charging access. PUCSL’s regulatory approach therefore provides a necessary foundation for market confidence. A further PUCSL guideline issued on 1 June 2026 states that any person selling electricity for the purpose of charging electric-propelled vehicles is required to obtain a trading licence or supply exemption, and that the guideline is intended to improve regulatory clarity, compliance and consistent implementation of EV charging infrastructure. වාහන ලියාපදිංචිය 50% කින් පහළට

2016 වසරේ පළමු මාස 08 තුළ දී මෙරට ලියාපදිංචි කර තිබෙන වාහන ප්‍රමාණය 50% කින් පහළ බැස තිබෙන බව මෝටර් රථ ප්‍රවාහන දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ නවතම දත්ත වාර්තා පෙන්වා දේ. 2016 වසරේ පළමු මාස 08 තුළ දී මෝටර් රථ 313,465 ක් ලියාපදිංචි කර තිබෙන අතර 2015 වසරේ මුල් මාස 08 තුළ වාර්තා වී තිබෙන මෙම අගය 668,907 ක් ලෙසින් වාර්තා වේ.

මේ සම්බන්ධයෙන් අදහස් දක්වමින් මෝටර් රථ ප්‍රවාහන කොමසාරිස් ජගත් චන්ද්‍රසිරි මහතා පෙන්වා දෙන්නේ මෙලෙස වසරේ මුල් මාස 08 තුළ ලියාපදිංචි කර තිබෙන වාහන 313,465 න් හරි අඩක් පමණ මෝටර් සයිකල් වන බවයි.

පසුගිය වසරේ මුල් මාස 08 තුළ ලියාපදිංචි මෝටර් රථ සංඛ්‍යාව වන 668,907 මෙතෙක් ඉතිහාසයේ වසරක මුල් මාස 08 ක කාලපරිච්ඡේදය තුළ වාර්තා වී තිබෙන වැඩිම මෝටර් රථ ලියාපදිංචිය බව ඔහු පෙන්වා දේ.

මෑත කාලීනව වාහන ආනයන බදු ඉහළ යාම, බැංකුපොළී අනුපාතික ඉහළ යාම වැනි හේතූන් මෙලෙසින් වාහන ලියාපදිංචිය පහත වැටීමට හේතුවී ඇති බව මෝටර් රථ ප්‍රවාහන කොමසාරිස්වරයා වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කර සිටී.
